Found this recipe, thought I'd give it a try. I LOVE avocado in/on sushi, but I'm not such a fan of guacamole. This recipe however, looked delicious, so why not?
What you need:
1 avocado
Hot Sauce (I like Frank's)
Lime Juice
Shredded Cheese
Practically nothing. Cut said avocado in half, de-pit, slice diagonally (to make diamond shapes but not all the way to the peel).
Pour some hot sauce on. Spread around, get it into the cuts. Do same with lime juice.
Cover with shredded cheese.
I stuck mine in the toaster over on broil, could put in over just as well, leave for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted and starting to brown.
Then it's done!
If you like avocado, it's fabulous, I'm still kind of learning to like it but I ate the whole half! And at least it looks delicious!
